A retrospective show of Ceramics October 15-November 15, 2024

Welcome to the Strange Little Worlds’ Village, a showing of ceramic homes and buildings built throughout the past decade. Tour around The Village, as The Realtor gives you details about your potential neighborhood via video. Each peculiar and intimate ceramic sculpture portrays petite happenings to observe and contemplate.

This retrospective groups together individual objects I created during periods of living with ubiquitous social anxiety. With the smaller objects, it is clear that I was housing this worrisome resident. The smaller objects were made without a preconceived strict vision but with unencumbered creativity, allowing for the subconscious to seep through. What results are objects covered in bricks, shadows, colors, and unique habitats portraying Strange Little Worlds for the viewers to explore.
