I Can’t Blink 2018 a photographic, video, and ceramic installation.

In the room there is a physical being, laying down, longingly watching a video. The video recounts the person’s text message interaction with another person. A dozen photographs on the wall sent to the 3D person from the one only presented two-dimensionally. The exchange turns to friendship when they realize they both can’t blink. I Can’t Blink, explores the obsession with being “normal”, otherness, desperation, discovery, figuring out a solution, and the realness of online friendships. They might not be able to produce tears, but perhaps you can.
